Weather at Mumbai Ahead of India-Sri Lanka World Cup Final; Chances of Thunderstorm: Report

The weather conditions tonight at Mumbai ahead of the Cricket World Cup 2011 Final between India and Sri Lanka is normal. The sky is hazy with smoke, while the temperature over the whole day ranged between 24 deg C to 32 deg C.

The weather as on Friday, April 1 is pleasant and is expected to remain so till tomorrow. The problem might come during the game play as there is a slight chances of thunderstorms later in the afternoon and evening tomorrow, though Meteorological department has said that the chances of precipitation is very very low.

There will be a presence of pleasant gentle sea breeze at throughout the day coming from the Arabian Sea in west. The wind will carry humidity of 55%, the humidity will tend to increase as the day passes, at the max it may extend upto 74%

With maximum temperature as 34 deg C and humidity of 74% the days is going to be very hot and humid.

Meanwhile the Wankhede stadium which is receiving continuous threats from the terrorist organizations of a possible attack during the game is guarded by 5000 Maharashtra police men and commandos of National Security Guards and Central Industrial Security Force. As Mumbai turns into fortress it is being monitored from air and sea. The stadium will see the presence of Indian and Sri Lankan President who will be watching match.
